Tomasz Bagiński

Welcome to this week's Friday treat.  This week we've got a famous piece of animation to watch:

Now, I sometimes tell Polish people of my love of animation that has been made in Poland, and they haven't heard of the likes of Jan Lenica, Witold Gierz and others who I have written about here.  At the same time they have heard of some reality TV star or some violently mediocre pop band.  They do tend to however have heard of Tomasz Bagiński.

His 'Cathedral' (Katedra) animation is very famous and won many awards. Other works by him include 'Rain' and the grisly story that is 'Fallen art' (Stuka spadania).

Enjoy!
